At 16:54 four fire engines from Preston, Penwortham and Bamber Bridge attended New Hall Lane, Preston to a fire involving the ground floor kitchen of a commercial property. Fire crews used a hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a positive ventilation fan and were on the scene for seventy minutes.
