Four fire engines from Skelmersdale and Wigan attended a fire involving a derelict building on Yewdale, Skelmersdale. Firefighters used eight breathing apparatus, two hose reels and three ventilation units to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported but the fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
