At 15:56hrs, two fire crews from Preston and one from Fulwood responded to a fire at a commercial premises on Blackpool Road in Preston. On arrival crews gained entry to the property and found a fire involving a fryer in the kitchen which they put out using a dry powder extinguisher. They also used a fan to clear the property of smoke. Crews were in attendance around three hours.
