At 20:45 four fire engines from Hyndburn, Blackburn and Darwen attended a fire at a commercial premises on Newfield Drive, Blackburn. Firefighters were on the scene for one hour and fifty minutes using four breathing apparatus, two positive ventilation units, two hose reels and one partner saw to extinguish the fire. There were no casualties.
