At 12:43pm on 24th September, four fire engines from Ormskirk, Skelmersdale and Wigan attended an incident on Derby Street, Ormskirk. The incident involved unknown chemicals in a cleaning store of a commercial property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews were at the scene for forty minutes.
