Four fire engines from Chorley, Bamber Bridge and Leyland attended a fire involving a container which was next to a commercial building on The Green, Eccleston at 14:02. Firefighters used two hose reels and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. The fire is of suspicious origin and the police were informed. No injuries were reported.
