Fire crews from Burnley and Hyndburn attended reports of a smoke alarm actuating in a domestic property on Woodside Road, Accrington. Firefighters used a gaining entry kit to get to the fire which was located in the kitchen of the property. The fire involved an overheated tray in the oven which contained fat. There were no casualties reported.
