Two fire crews from Blackburn and Hyndburn attended reports of a fire in a domestic property on Higson Street, Blackburn. On arrival firefighters found the fire involved a hot oil pan. They extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and a hose reel. A ventilation unit was used to clear the property of smoke and firefighters were in attendanc approximately 25 minutes. There were no casualties reported.
