At 18:26 on 03 August, three fire engines from Burnley and Nelson attended a derelict building fire on Oxford Road, Burnley. The incident involved the ground floor of a derelict property. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. They remained in attendance for approximately five hours.
