At 22:22 on 16 June, four fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Chorley, and Horwich (of Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service) attended a derelict building fire on Cowling Brow, Chorley. The incident involved the first floor of a derelict property. Firefighters used three breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for an hour and twenty minutes.
