At 14:19 on 27th August, three fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended a derelict building fire on Stone Bridge Lane, Oswaldtwistle. The incident involved a quantity of waste inside a derelict building. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one main jet, two handheld jets, P3 masks, and one fog spike to extinguish the fire. They remained in attendance for approximately five and a half hours.
