At 21:32 on 13th September, four fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended a derelict building fire on Stone Bridge Lane, Oswaldtwistle. The fire involved a quantity of household waste inside a derelict property. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two jets, a fog spike, and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for around five hours.
