At 23:51 on 28 February, four fire engines from Fulwood, Bamber Bridge, Penwortham, and Preston, together with an aerial ladder platform and support vehicle from Preston, attended a derelict building fire on Lytham Road, Preston. The incident involved a derelict commercial property. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported. Crews remained in attendance for three hours.
