Eight fire engines and two aerial ladder platforms attended a derelict building fire on Mount Street in Preston. The fire involved the third floor of the building and the roof. Firefighters are still in attendance. No injuries have been reported.

The incident has now been reduced to three fire engines and two aerial ladder platforms. Damping down operations are in progress.

The incident has been reduced to two aerial ladder platforms and one fire engine. Firefighters are using a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots in the building.
