Four fire engines from Preston, Penwortham and Fulwood were called to a derelict building on Maudland Bank, Preston. Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, one jet, three hose reels and two ventilation units to extinguish the fire. One person was treated at the scene by paramedics and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
