At 02:39 six fire engines from St Annes, South Shore, Blackpool, Lytham and Bispham and the aerial ladder platform from Blackpool attended a derelict building fire on Queensway, Lytham St Annes. the building measured 35m x 15m which was well alight. Firefighters used two jets, two light portable pumps and lighting to extinguish the fire.
At 05:45 the incident was reduced to two fire engines and the ALP
The fire is thought to be of suspicious origin.
