At 10:04 on 16 June, four fire engines from Bacup, Burnley, and Hyndburn, together with a supporting appliance from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service as well as an aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn, attended a derelict building fire on Brandwood Road, Stacksteads, Bacup. The incident involved a derelict building approximately 20x30m in size. Firefighters used two 45mm jets to extinguish the fire.
