Two fire crews from Chorley alongside one crew from Horwich attended a fire at a domestic property on Birchwood Drive, Coppull. The fire involved a dishwasher in the kitchen which was actually out on arrival of firefighters at the scene. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to check the fire was out and clear the property of smoke. Firefighters were in attendance approximately 30 minutes and there were no casualties reported.
