At 15:07 on 21st April, two fire engines from Hyndburn attended a domestic building fire on Windermere Avenue, Accrington. The incident involved a planter and trellis at the side of a domestic property. Firefighters used one hose reel and a hearth kit to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately fifty minutes. An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
