At 20:01 on 27th August, one fire engine from Hyndburn attended a domestic building fire on Belfield Road, Accrington. The fire involved the kitchen of a domestic property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. No juries were reported. They were in attendance for around thirty-five minutes.
