At 15:18 on 12 December, two fire engines from Colne and Nelson attended a domestic building fire on Coates Avenue, Barnoldswick. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, one positive pressure ventilation unit, and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. The crews were in attendance for forty minutes.
