Four fire engines from Skelmersdale, Ormskirk and one from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue along with the Aerial Ladder Platform from Hyndburn were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Jacksons Lane, Bispham Green near Ormskirk. The fire involved the loft space of a two storey building and was extinguished using breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a jet from the aerial ladder platform. Also in use were several triple extension ladders, roof ladders, thermal imaging camera and some lighting equipment. Firefighters were in attendance approximately 7 hours.
