Three fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn attended an incident on Pringle Street, Blackburn.
The incident involved a fire on the ground floor of a domestic property.
Firefighters used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus, and a thermal image camera to bring the fire under control.
One casualty was rescued by fire service personnel, and two further casualties suffered smoke inhalation, all of whom were conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.
The fire service was on the scene for approximately one hour.
