At 05:09 on 10 August, three fire engines from Blackpool, South Shore, and Bispham, together with an aerial ladder platform from Blackpool, attended a domestic building fire on Buchanan Street, Blackpool. Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reels, one positive-pressure ventilation unit, a thermal imaging camera, and the aerial ladder platform to extinguish the fire. They remained in attendance for several hours.
