Three fire engines from Bispham, Blackpool, and St Annes attended a fire involving a domestic property on Devonshire Road in Blackpool.
While on scene, crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation unit.
There was one casualty that suffered from the effects of smoke inhalation, who was treated at the scene by fire service personnel.
Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
