Fire crews from Blackpool and South Shore were called to reports of a domestic building fire on Meadowbrook, Blackpool. When firefighters arrived they found that the fire was already out but had involved felt in the attic of the property. Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to assess the scene and check for hotspots and signs of fire. They used a triple extension and roof ladder along with an at height pack to aid firefighters in removing tiles from the roof to ensure the fire was properly extinguished. There were no casualties reported and firefighters were in attendance approximately one hour and 35 minutes.
