At 04:23 two fire engines from Blackpool attended an incident on George Street, Blackpool. The fire involved a candle in a domestic property which had spread to the furnishings. The fire was out on arrival however firefighters made the scene safe and one casualty was given a precautionary check for smoke inhalation. Firefighters were at the scene for approximately forty five minutes.
