At 23:57 on 1st December, three fire engines from Blackpool and Bispham attended a domestic building fire on Shenston Road, Blackpool. The incident involved the kitchen of a domestic property. One casualty was rescued from the building and received treatment from firefighters and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) personnel. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, and one positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for one hour. A fire investigation is now underway.
