At 12:40 on 03 August, three fire engines from Blackpool and Bispham attended a domestic building fire on Rutland Avenue, Bispham. The incident involved a kitchen inside a domestic property. Firefighters rescued two dogs from the premises. The crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a door ram, a thermal imaging camera, and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for fifty minutes.
