At 4:38pm on 13th February, two fire engines from Burnley and Nelson attended an incident on Prestwich Street, Burnley. The fire involved wooden timbers which spread to the kitchen of a domestic property. Firefighters used one hose reel and one positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. They were at the scene for forty minutes.
