At 22:13 on 15 June, two fire engines from Chorley attended a domestic building fire on Alma Wood Close, Chorley. The incident involved the kitchen of a second floor flat and was out on arrival. Firefighters used a hearth kit and a positive pressure ventilation unit to clear the property of smoke. One casualty received precautionary checks. crews were in attendance for approximately an hour.
