At 02:25 four fire engines from Hyndburn, Great Harwood and Blackburn attended a persons reported fire on Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors. The fire was in a first floor flat above a commercial premises and firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one triple extension ladder, one hose reel and a positive ventilation fan and were at the scene for approximately one hour and forty minutes.
