At 03:58 two fire engines from Preesall and Bispham attended an incident in a domestic property on Esplanade, Knott End-on-Sea. The fire involved a pan of food at a domestic property which was out on arrival however firefighters administered first-aid to one casualty who had suffered burns to the hand. Firefighters were at the scene for thirty minutes before handing the casualty over to the care of NWAS.
