At 13:31 two fire engines from Chorley and Bamber Bridge attended a domestic building fire on Acorn Close, Leyland. The fire involved the bedroom of a detached property and firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a positive ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour and twenty five minutes.
