At 18:53 on 23rd March, two fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen attended a domestic building fire on Blackamoor Road, Lower Darwen. The fire involved the chimney of a domestic property. Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera, 9 metre ladder, roof ladder, working at heights pack and Nimbus nozzle to bring the fire under control. Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours and twenty minutes.
