At 16:44 on 13th December, four fire engines from Chorley, Ormskirk, Tarleton and Leyland, an aerial ladder platform and supporting fire engine from Preston, and a drone support unit, attended a fire at a domestic property on Back Lane, Mawdesley. Firefighters used one hose reel, breathing apparatus and a triple extension ladder to bring the fire under control. They then checked for hotspots and worked to make the scene safe. Crews were in attendance for approximately five hours.
