Three fire engines from Morecambe, Carnforth and Tarleton were called to reports of a fire at a three storey domestic property on Claremont Crescent. The fire involved the first floor of the property. Initially it was thought that there may have been persons trapped, however firefighters quickly established that all persons were accounted for. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a ventilation unit top extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
