Fire crews from Penwortham were called to a fire at a domestic property on Mulberry Close, Newton with Clifton. The fire involved a plastic bag which had been left on top of a cooker hob. The fire was out on arrival of firefighters however there was one casualty that was treated by firefighters for slight burns. Firefighters were in attendance approximately 50 minutes.
