At 13:14 three fire engines from Fulwood, Preston and Penwortham attended a domestic building fire on Eversleigh Street, Preston. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and a positive ventilation fan to extinguish the fire which was a result of a pan on a hob. Two casualties received precautionary checks from NWAS. Firefighters were in attendance for one hour and ten minutes.
