At 20:30 on 23rd May, two fire engines from Preston attended a domestic building fire on Blackpool Road, Preston. The fire involved a bath in the first floor bathroom of a domestic property. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews rescued a dog from the ground floor of the property and were in attendance for around forty-five minutes.
