Two fire crews from Preston were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Watling Street, Preston. The fire involved a candle which had fallen onto the carpet and set light to a settee. Firefighters used a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire quickly. There was one casualty at the incident who was suffering the effects of smoke inhalation. Firefighters were in attendance approximately 55 minutes.
