At 21:20 on 04 September, two fire engines from Preston and Bamber Bridge attended a domestic building fire on Cuerdale Lane, Walton-le-Dale. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and a positive-pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for forty minutes.
