AT 11:03pm on the 9th March, four fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen attended a fire involving a domestic flat on Cockridge Close, Blackburn. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation unit to bring the fire under control. One casualty was assessed by ambulance for smoke inhalation.
