At 14:10 two fire engines from Blackpool and Bispham attended a building fire on Pinewood Avenue, Blackpool. On arrival crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation fan to bring the fire under control. The fire involved clothing that was on top of a cooker.
