At 13:40 two fire engines from Chorley and Horwich were mobilised to a domestic premisis on Factory Lane, Heath Charnock. Firefighters extinguished the fire involving a wooden mantel in ground floor of a terraced dwelling house using one hose reel, hearth kit, thermal imaging camera, salvage sheet, lighting and small gear. Fire crews were on the scene for approximately fifty minutes.
