Fire crews from Hyndburn were called to a property on Bellfield Road, Accrington where they found a settee on fire on the ground floor of the property. Firefighters extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel. There were three casualties reported and treated for smoke inhalation by firefighters prior to the arrival of ambulance crews at the scene. Firefighters were in attendance for several hours.
