At 20:57 on 28th August 2023, three fire engines from Hyndburn and Great Harwood attended a fire on Oak Street, Accrington. The fire involved a ground floor flat. Crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and two ventilation fans to bring the fire under control. Crews were in attendance for one hour.
