Two fire engines from Bacup and Rawtenstall attended a fire in a domestic property on Newchurch Road in Stacksteads, Bacup. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Three casualties were treated for smoke inhalation and a fourth for burns.
