At 14:16 three fire engine from Barnoldswick, Colne and Nelson attended James Street, Barnoldswick. The fire was in the kitchen of a domestic property and firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, hearth kit, thermal imaging camera and triple extension ladder. Firefighters were at the scene for an hour and twenty minutes assisting one casualty who was suffering the affects of smoke inhalation.
