At 06:23 fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended reports of a building fire on Rothesay Road, Blackburn. This was a persons reported fire however the person escaped prior to the arrival of the fire service. The fire involved the ground floor of a domestic property and firefighters used four breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. Firefighters administered first-aid to the casualty.
